Dr Albert Atkin
I am particularly interested in C.S. Peirce’s accounts of signification, epistemology and diagramatic logic. My current work mainly concerns exploring the connections between Peirce’s Final Account of Signs, and contemporary accounts of reference and meaning, but I am also writing papers on quantification in Peirce's diagram logics, and the role of the Existential Graphs in Peirce's "proof" of the pragmatic maxim.

I am currently completing a book on Peirce for the Routledge Philosophers series, and writing a review of T.L. Short's book, Peirce's Theory of Signs, for Mind. Further details are available under Publications.
