I have a keen interest in indexicality and context-sensitivity. I am particularly interested in how far formal accounts of semantics for indexicals capture intuitions about ordinary linguistic practices.
More crucially, I am interested in how far we should let such matters influence our accounts of meaning, and if there are theoretical means and motivated reasons for keeping problem cases out of our semantics.
